Small Groups

Outside of Adult Sunday School and Worship Services, our church offers small group discussions.  Some small groups include:

  • United Methodist Women
  • United Methodist Men
  • Adult Study Groups - offered throughout the year
  • Adult Sunday School

Committees To Serve

The Church Administrative Council shall oversee other committees and provide for planning and implementing a program of nurture, outreach, witness, and resources in the local church.

 

The Staff-Parish Relations (SPR) Committee shall assist the pastor(s) and staff in assessing their gifts, maintaining health holistically and work-life balance, and setting priorities for leadership and service.

 

The Committee on Finance shall make stewardship of financial resources as their priority throughout the year.

 

The Memorial Committee is responsible for maintaining an accurate record of memorial contributions to the church. Responsible for assuring the use of contributions in accordance with the desires of the contributors or the family of the deceased. Assist the Pastor in recommending appropriate uses for un-designated memorial funds on a yearly basis.

 

The Board of Trustees Effective trustees will function as Christian stewards of property God has entrusted to the congregation. This includes supervising and maintaining both the physical property of the congregation and gifts made to the congregation so that the ministries of the congregation can be effective, and all legal requirements related to the property are satisfied.

 

The Worship Committee is responsible for enhancing the worship experience. Duties: Scheduling ushers, acolytes, and greeters, working with musicians that participate in worship service, Coordinating the altar cloths, banners and flowers, preparing communion, decorating the sanctuary for Christmas/Easter

 

 Missions Committee is responsible for identifying, developing, evaluating, and monitoring Christian spiritual leadership for the local congregation. 

 

The Fellowship and Coffee Fellowship Committee is unique in its function, their goal is in bringing together the members of the congregation and their family and friends into one body to share and live out the Gospel. Fellowship’s function is to plan social activities for the congregation to come together as a church family.

 

The Spiritual Growth and Education Committee Oversee learning and teaching experiences for the congregation so that people of all ages grow in their understanding of the gospel and become better equipped for daily living as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Lead the congregation to understand the importance of lifelong growth and learning as Christian disciples.

Tuesday 8 - 11 a.m.

Wednesday 8 - 11 a.m.

Thursday 8 - 11 a.m.

Call during these hours if you need to arrange another time to come in the office or to meet with the pastor. 

 

 Adult Studies:

We meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and 11 a.m. on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall.

 

Monthly Potluck:

Join us on the First Sunday of every month for good food and good fellowship. 

 

Military Appreciation Breakfast

Third Saturday of the month, 8 a.m.:

Veterans and Active Military and their Significant Others, join us for a hearty breakfast as we share our appreciation for your service.

 

United Methodist Women Monthly Meeting:

Third Thursday of

every month.

 

United Methodist Men's Monthly Breakfast:
